"My experiences have taught me resilience, empathy, and a deeper faith. I'm continually learning to embrace the beauty and light that shines through brokenness, and to trust in God's greater plan."

I live in Johnson City, Tennessee, with my husband Bryson and 2 wildly energetic boys, Lyle and Forrest. When I’m not at home, you can probably find me at one of their many sporting activities. I’ve fully embraced the role of a soccer mom! We are in a busy season but it is oh so sweet! I love getting to see my boys learn, grow, and form lasting friendships with the people around them.

I have a wide range of interests and big dreams that span many different areas. Though I may be a jack of all trades, I’m always eager to learn and explore new things—never really mastering just one. Although I haven’t practiced in a while, one of my greatest passions is being a certified birth doula, where I get to offer my heart and support to new mothers and their babies during such a transformative time. I still hold that spirit in my heart whenever I’m with a mother or baby. Alongside that, I love to work with my hands, creating unique and exciting projects that allow my creativity to shine. Whether I’m at a gathering or event, you can always count on me to bring an elaborate charcuterie board, and while I love contributing, you’ll most likely find me sitting quietly in the background, observing and taking it all in.

I also work part time at our family’s cabinetry design business. I enjoy the creative aspect of design, as well as the practical side of managing daily tasks and keeping things organized. I love crossing things off a to-do list, no matter how small the task.

My life has been marked by health issues, including chronic illness, anxiety, and depression. While I hope for a day when these challenges no longer weigh on me, I've found unexpected blessings along the way. These experiences have taught me resilience, empathy, and a deeper faith. I'm continually learning to embrace the beauty and light that shines through brokenness, and to trust in God's greater plan.

I hope that by sharing my story, I can offer comfort and understanding to others who may be going through similar experiences. There's a profound strength in vulnerability, in speaking openly about our struggles. It's in these shared moments of honesty that we find healing and hope. I love that FFCO creates spaces for that to happen!

I'm forever grateful for the opportunity to connect with all of you here. Here's to community, growth, grace, and the light shining through it all.
